Here Come the Brides!!
Yes, you are seeing DOUBLE!! TWIN sisters Kelly and Katherine Kilgore are both getting married in 2011. (Sigh, poor Mom and Dad!)
With weddings only six months apart from one another, these sisters are sure to tackle the ins and outs of wedding planning head on in the next few months. The first proposal came to bride-to-be Katherine. Her now fiancé, Joseph Pitzinger, proposed while vacationing in New Orleans. Katherine and Joseph will be married in Houston, TX on May 7, 2011 at Memorial Drive Presbyterian.
…Not to be outdone, twin Kelly Kilgore, was soon engaged to fiancé Andres “Andy” Ramirez only six months after Katherine. Kelly and Andy will be married on November 19, 2011. They too will be married in Houston, TX at Memorial Drive Presbyterian.
While I am bummed I missed out on tagging along for Katherine and Joe’s wedding registry, I was able to meet up with Kelly and Andy this past weekend. It was fun meeting with the couple as they crafted the perfect registry. Their enthusiasm was felt by everyone in the Bering’s Gift Shop.
Both Kelly and Katherine met with Bering’s Bridal Specialist, Lesley Sullivan. Lesley worked with the couples as they decided which items best fit their individual styles. After all, they would soon be choosing the key pieces to many future holiday celebrations. Lesley made the often complicated and stressful china selection a snap, as she prepared a table with their dinnerware selections so they could catch a glimpse at many future family celebrations. Seeing the place settings fully adorned with accents decorations and stemware helped the couple fine-tune their selections.
Formal China Pattern: Herend- Queen Victoria
Their everyday china is Gien, Filets Vert. …and the best part of all is that it can be placed in the dishwasher or microwave for easy everyday use. (This was particularly important to Kelly and Andy.) Thankfully, it can also be dressed up in a full table setting and be used for fine dining.
Stemware Pattern: Waterford Essence
After choosing the dinnerware and stemware patterns, it was time to put it all together by choosing complementary flatware! Both Kelly and Katherine decided to go with Gorham’s Strassbourg.
Gorham Strasbourg just happens to be a Kilgore family pattern! …Strassbourg is timeless!
The last stop to finalizing their efforts in china was their serve ware. Among their pretty selections are William Yeoward Country Carafes. These are fun to display or serve from. …Such good taste!
Once Kelly and Andy wrapped up their bridal registry, with a stop or two to look at bbq grills for those fun parties to come, it was time to select the ever-important SAVE THE DATES AND WEDDING INVITATIONS!
Bering’s Stationer, Mary, was delighted to assist the couple in tackling a wonderful selection of invitations.

Wedding fun,
