The Santoku is originally a Japanese version of a utility knife. Translated, it means “The Three Virtues”; it is equally suitable for meat, fish and vegetables. Thanks to the wide blade, the Santoku is particularly easy to handle. The solid blade slug made from a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy is hand-forged with Solingen craftsmanship, structurally optimized and then hardened to 58 HRC. In order to give the blade a longer service life and even finer cut, the traditional hand grind is then highly polished. 5.4 oz, 11.3″ overall length, 6.4″ blade.
