Did you know you can create a baby registry with us? Well, you can and we are so excited to tell you all about it. While we do not carry diapers, detergent, or shampoo, we do carry beautiful blankets, onesies, lovies, outfits, accessories, and many more luxurious items you and your baby will love.

What is a baby registry?

A baby registry is a list of gifts, essentials, clothing, accessories, and more that the soon-to-be parents create as a gifting guide for friends and family. Baby shower guests will utilize the baby registry when purchasing a gift or gifts for the soon-to-be Mom and Dad. The items included in a baby registry range from essentials such as diapers, to luxuries such as a beautifully monogrammed baby blanket.

The soon-to-be parents create their baby registry by adding items to their wish list.

Baby registries can also include gift cards. This versatile gift, while seemingly impersonal, is very helpful and can allow for the parents-to-be to purchase a gift on their own further down the road, or to help buy the items still left on their registry. A baby registry is the best way for loved ones to buy a gift that the parents want and need for their precious little one.

When should you make a baby registry?

You can begin creating your baby registry whenever you’d like. For many soon-to-be parents, creating a baby registry is one of their favorite parts! Who doesn’t love picking out sweet items for their precious little one? However, if you’re waiting to find out the baby’s sex, you may want to hold off until you hear the news, since it could influence your choices. You shouldn’t wait too much longer, as you will want to give yourself plenty of time to research and choose your favorites. Plus, your guests will need time to pick out the perfect baby shower gifts!

What should you add to a baby registry?

So, now you may be wondering, what would I register for? You can and should register for anything you want or need – there are no specific rules to crafting a great baby registry. Each registry will be as unique as the person who created it. Of course, it’s always important to have a good range of items at various price points to allow for options.

Make sure the baby registry has a wide variety of items to choose from. Your loved ones will enjoy having options, so they can still shop through your baby registry to find and give a gift they love as much as you do. A good rule of thumb is to make your guests to gift ratio 1:1.5 (# of guests X 1.5). This allows for enough, but not too many, options on a baby registry.

Additionally , some people may prefer sending a gift card, so make sure that is an option on the baby registry. We recommend using a baby registry checklist!

Creating a baby registry should be fun! Although it is hard work, and takes time, it should be an enjoyable opportunity to pick out all of the items you will need as a new parent and that your sweet baby will enjoy. We recommend utilizing a baby registry checklist to ensure you register for everything you’ll need without forgetting something. While deciding exactly what items you’d like on your registry can seem overwhelming, referring to a list for guidance is extremely helpful. Additionally, make sure to give your loved ones enough options so they can choose a gift they love as well.
