High-school sweethearts Abbie and Chase met through mutual friends, but it took a while for sparks to ignite. “Chase had to ask me to date him many times before I finally gave in and gave him a chance. We have been together ever since!” The couple married at The Ballroom at Bayou Place in a stunning ceremony at a unique circular altar, where guests could watch them exchange vows from every angle. A magnificent floral “chandelier” from premier Houston florist Dream Bouquet provided a captivating focal point amidst the colorful decor. “The ceremony was absolutely magical,” says the bride. “We loved being completely surrounded by our family and friends!” Following the ceremony, the couple was interviewed by a Joan Rivers impersonator…and that was just the start of the fabulous festivities. Highlights included aerial bartenders, a strolling magician, costumed Disney characters and a lively “La Hora Loca” (Spanish for “the crazy hour”— a high-energy, prop-filled wedding celebration tradition) featuring cowboy breakdancers. As for executing this incredible wedding production, “Kat Creech made it extremely easy for us,” the bride says. “She took care of everything, and made planning the wedding a breeze on our end!”
