All Paint is Not Created Equal!

Anytime is a good time to paint the walls, furniture and well – anything! Pratt & Lambert says it best, “Color inspiration is all around us, but sometimes we need a little assistance bringing it clearly into view.” The color experts at Bering’s Hardware are always ready to assist you. We hand mix our paints resulting in a more accurate match than the current industry standard of computer matching.

Pratt & Lambert PaintsWhy Pratt & Lambert? That is a good and fair question! The answer is simply Pratt & Lambert is the best due to its contents. It has higher quality ingredients, with more titanium oxide. This translates to better binding, easier application and an allover smoother unified application – that holds up over the worst conditions.

Speaking of spring – don’t you love the Spring Yellow painted walls featured below?!

Spring Yellow Pratt & Lambert PaintHere is a little paint trivia for you!

There are three components to paint.

1. Base which is water
2. Pigment
3. Hiding components

And you guessed it! The third component is why Pratt & Lambert paint consistently ranks highest among its competitors. It really is what’s inside that counts! …Of course we would be remiss if we failed to mention the amazing colors and hues.

Here is another nugget of trivia for you. The deeper the color (specifically reds) the less titanium, which means more coats! I’m guessing the beautiful dining room below required at least two coats to achieve the crisp Velvet Red.
