Wedding Season in Houston, Texas is as celebrated as our Houston Texans, Rockets and Astros. The wonderful world of weddings and all of the planning that goes on behind the scenes is nothing short of all of the biggest parties of couple’s lives, mixed with family support and the best industry professionals around. Attend one Houston wedding show, big or small, and you will quickly gain an appreciation for the many moving parts of the ceremony of love, a wedding.

The sphere of wedding professionals in Houston, Texas is probably a bit overwhelming at first blush. However, it is actually full of insanely talented planners, photographers, caterers, florists and more – all adding up to a fun group to get to work with from an industry perspective… And a refreshing air of ease and confidence from a client perspective. Yes, you can certainly do it all yourself as a bride or groom, but we are certain you would be more than pleased with getting to know some of our favorite wedding planners. Most all are full of ways to save, without compromising your vision and truly keep all of the timelines lined up down to the very last detail.

The planners wear many hats, from assisting with wedding stationery, to wedding registry, to caterers and so much more. One of the many reasons we love working in the wedding market with our wedding registry (also known here at Bering’s as Couple’s Registry), is primarily to share in the milestone with our customers. That is definitely the most rewarding part, but it is also so much fun getting to team up with the talent of Houston’s top wedding planners like Natalie Dawley, of Two Be Wed, Kat Creech, of Kat Creech Events, and Claudia G. De Velasco, of A Day To Remember! Our apologies for not expanding on this list, as these are just a few of the talented group of planners.

Knowing how much we enjoy partnering with wedding planners on executing their vision in our stationery department, gift shop and more, it should come as no surprise that we were ecstatic about partnering with both Claudia as well as Kat on two currently published editorial spreads in the 2016 spring / summer issue of Weddings in Houston Magazine!
