On Emily Sales first day at work at Ernst & Young, she met the love of her life (of course, she didn’t know this yet!) Brian Marmillion. They became close friends shortly after meeting, and almost a year later, Brian finally made the first move.
Emily and Brian had booked a trip to Fredericksburg, Texas for a relaxing, long weekend after a particularly busy couple of months at work. It was booked for the week when social distancing started to come into existence and businesses started to close down due to COVID-19. They decided to cancel and spend that long weekend at Emily’s family bay house down in Galveston with just a few close friends. One morning, they went for a walk on the empty beach and before Emily knew it, Brian was talking about their future and knelt down on one knee. They had a fun celebration back at Emily’s bay house with their closest friends, and Emily’s family came to surprise her! Brian planned this, and she was thrilled to celebrate with all her loved ones. Emily said, “It was a day we will never forget, in the middle of this once in a lifetime pandemic.”
Emily and Brian’s wedding is on December 5th, 2020. The ceremony will take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and the reception will be at Houston Country Club. Their wedding colors are greens and neutrals. The bridesmaid dresses are a gorgeous taupe.
Details on their Bering’s Wedding Registry & Invitations!
Emily grew up shopping at Bering’s with her family and has always loved the store. Her sister registered with Bering’s for her wedding 3 years ago and has always said great things about her registry process. Emily and Brian chose a whites and neutrals for their primary registry theme. Emily says she loves the option to throw a splash of color to her gorgeous pottery and china. Emily and Brian want to begin with a splash of blue in their new home because they love the Italian and Mediterranean feel!
